Product information
The product shown is a skid-plate for the DL650. The main part consists of an aluminum plate while the side covers are made from high-quality non-flammable polycarbonate plastic. It is designed to protect the lower parts of the motorcycle, especially the oil filter and cooler from curbs, stones and other road debris. This skid-plate is designed to provide critical protection while at the same time remaining lightweight and elegant. It is also designed to provide sufficient air flow to the oil cooler and only affect ground clearance to a minimum degree. It is NOT designed for off-road use or lifting the motorcycle. Mounting requires the use of crash-bars by one of the following companies, so please indicate the proper type when ordering.

Modifying your PODIA skid-plate.
Need to change your crash-bars to a different type? You can easily modify your PODIA skid-plate to fit a different crash-bars type by ordering a different mounting bracket. The new bracket also comes with new bolts. The modifying process is very easy and consists of removing the existing bolts and mounting bracket and installing the new one using basic tools. You can order a new bracket by selecting your desired (new) type of crash-bars and clicking the "Add to Cart" button.
