The product shown is a fender extension for the DL650/DL1000. It is made from polycarbonate plastic. The stock front wheel fender on the DL650/DL1000 does not provide adequate coverage from small stones and water. Our product is designed to deflect water and small rocks and protect the lower parts of the motorcycle, oil filter and most importantly rider's feet and shoes. Unlike other solutions that rely on stick tapes, our product mounts far more strongly with self-tapping screws on provided screw caps. The screws provided are theft-resistant TORX security head screws. ALL necessary mounting hardware is provided with the product, including the drill bit and TORX bit.
Installation Instructions
All needed hardware is included and the installation is very easy. You only need to provide your own wrench and drill. Note that an earlier version of the FTERO had a mounting bracket which is now discontinued, please use the screws provided only.
